Please note. You should register your child in the grade level they are currently attending. For example, if they are in grade 1 now, they should be registered in the SK/GR 1 split. The only exception is for JK where if you have a child who will be going into JK in the fall (ie 3yrs old but turning 4 in 2024), you can register them in the JK group. Cost is $95.00 offering discounts for multiple immediate family registrations.

Calling all Coaches for Summer Soccer…..….
As most of you know, the Fisher Park Recreation Council is a Volunteer led organization. To make our programs work we rely on volunteer coaches. In order to encourage coaches to sign up in advance we are offering early registration to those who are willing to commit to coach. There are several rules.
1. Advance registration is offered only to the coach’s children. Friend requests can still be made and we will do our very best to accommodate but all non-coach parents cannot register until Thursday June 17th at 1201am.
2. A Maximum of two coaches requesting to coach together per team are offered advance registration.
In order to preregister you must email fisherparksports to get instructions.
We are pleased to be opening our registration for Summer Soccer on Thursday June 17th at 1201am. Go to https://fisherpark.powerupsports.com/
Given our poll results, we will be going with a strictly weekday schedule.

As in all years we will do our best to match friends on teams however as the numbers are capped at 10 this year, it will be more difficult to accommodate all requests. These programs are meant for Recreational Players (The age groups are 5-7 yr olds and 8-11 yr olds.). Players will partake in one
of our 10 week programs with one session per week. The sessions will begin with structured skills and drills, and finish with a
small pick up game.
Due to COVID program, registration is quite limited. In order to accommodate as many families as possible, we would ask that
you register in one session to begin with. If you would like to try for a second session, send us an email at
Fisherparksports and we will place you on a waitlist in the order the emails are received. After 1 week we will begin
confirming people off the waitlist. Covid procedures and requirements will be forwarded closer to the start of the program.
Currently a MAXIMUM of 1 spectator per participant is permitted in the arena. Please note that Covid procedures are set by
the City of Ottawa and subject to change. These are beyond the Council’s control.
Fall 2020 Program Update
Due to COVID-19 Fisher Park Community Recreation Council will NOT be running our Fall Flag Rugby and our Learn to Skate programs.
Our Hockey programs with be RUNNING.
COVID-19 Update:
Given the current situation and following recommendations made by government agencies at the local, provincial and federal levels, we are cancelling all Fisher Park Community Recreation Council spring programs, including soccer, softball and t-ball. The registration night scheduled for April 8 will not take place.
While we understand that this is disappointing news for families, and the community overall, the safety and well-being of all involved is our most important concern. Over the coming months, we will continue to follow the guidance provided by government agencies.
We encourage you to continue to visit our Facebook page and website for further updates.
